About Us

The Rotary Club of Petone was established in 1951 (Rotary International # 18628.)

Today it is a relatively small group who are very involved, not only with the local Petone Community but also with groups and organisations further afield.

Like most other clubs, there is a wealth of talent, knowledge, experience and skills to call upon from the membership.

It has been said that Rotary is very good at organising things and on this score, the Rotary Club of Petone achieves many great things.

There are many projects that Rotary International supports and promotes and on this page you will find examples of how we have applied this in our own community, some of the local organisations we support and other areas we are involved in.

There are numerous other groups we are involved with during the year. The outgoing President presents a report that highlight all of the achievements during their tenure and these reports are available by visiting the OTHER PROJECTS page.
